Southeast Equipment Plus was originally created to serve as a sales channel for used aerial and general commercial construction equipment for national rental companies, manufacturers and financial services.
Immediately recognizing the inconsistent results from auctions and the accompanying demand for quality used equipment, SEP became an alternative source for both buyers and sellers. Thanks to a unique business model, we quickly became successful by offering quality equipment to the end user at below-wholesale pricing. We take pride in that every item sold by SEP is thoroughly gone through and leaves as 100% job ready.
We have assembled a sales and service staff prepared to tackle any situation with over 100 years industry experience. Additionally, we utilize aggressive marketing strategies to more effectively handle equipment consignment and fleet liquidations for national companies, manufacturers and financial services. Our streamlined method of business ensures top dollar is brought for each piece compared to the alternative auction values found elsewhere.
In 2009, Southeast Equipment Plus became the parent company to U.S. Equipment Plus out of Mitchell, SD and Central Ohio Equipment Plus in Canton, OH. Both U.S. Equipment Plus and Central Ohio Equipment Plus operate under Southeast Equipment Plus and serve as a sales and service channel for their designated territories. Future plans for expansion include the Southwest US.
In 2010, we saw unprecedented growth in our Canadian business. With over 30% of our small equipment sales going to Canada, we have completely streamlined the entire exporting process.
